Responsible for the content of this website and the operation of the L2 WarNeT game server:
German DemidovThe controller within the meaning of the GDPR is the operator named above. We process personal data only to the extent necessary to run the game server, the website and related services.
On registration we store your login, a password (hashed only) and optionally your e-mail address (solely for password recovery). While playing and using the website we process your IP address, access time, the game client hardware ID (anti-cheat) and game statistics (characters, level, PvP, clan). Log files are deleted automatically: game server logs after 7 days, web server logs after 14 days. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (performance of contract) and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (protection against abuse and cheating).
Card, Apple Pay and Google Pay payments are processed by Stripe Payments Europe Ltd. (Ireland). Card data is handled exclusively by Stripe and is never stored on our servers. We receive only the payment status, amount and a transaction identifier from Stripe. Stripe privacy policy: https://stripe.com/privacy.
For payments via Skrill or Revolut you transfer funds yourself to the details shown; the privacy terms of the respective provider apply. We store only the payment code, amount, time and associated account in order to credit WNC.
If you voluntarily link your account to Discord, we receive your Discord ID and username via Discord OAuth2. No other data is requested. You can unlink at any time in your account panel; the stored Discord data is then deleted.
The website uses a technically necessary session cookie for login and a cookie to remember your language. For audience measurement we use the self-hosted, cookieless software Umami, which stores no personal data and does not retain IP addresses. No data is shared with third parties.
The website and game server are operated in a data center in Germany. Apart from payment processing via Stripe and the optional Discord link, no data is transferred to third countries.
You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection (Art. 15–21 GDPR), as well as the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. To delete your account or request your data, write to admin@la2warnet.de.
